Cushion Width
Measure the width of the cushion at the widest point as the left to right measurement when standing in front of the furniture where the cushion will be placed. We accept whole and half-inch increments only. (Cushions more than 52" wide may show one or more visible seams in the cushion fabric when choosing a vertically directional fabric.) A zipper will be placed along the width of the cushion.

Thickness is a matter of personal taste, but there are a few things to consider:
- Our most popular thickness is 3 inches.
- As a general rule, the thicker the cushion, the longer the cushion will provide comfortable support.
- Some fill types are not available for all thicknesses.

All 4 corners are squared.
Rounded Back
The front 2 corners are squared, and the back 2 corners are rounded. All rounded corners have a radius of 4 inches. If you require a different radius, a template will be required. More Info

CumuPlush (Indoor/Outdoor)
CumuPlush fill is a special layered blend of dry conjugate fiber and densified polyfiber designed to not retain water and resist mildew. This filling is recommended for outdoor applications and may also be used indoors. More Info
*Thickness measurements are taken seam to seam. The loft on each side of your cushion could be up to 1" greater than your specified thickness, as the insert's thickness is slightly larger, making sure you get that taut, filled effect.
Foam + Top Batting (Indoor)
Foam fill is recommended for indoor or protected outdoor applications since water may be retained in the foam cushion for longer periods of time. A thin layer of batting is added to the top of the foam for extra comfort and to better shape the cushion. More Info
Double Welting
Cushion will have double welting (cording/piping) along the seams. All welting is cut on the bias, giving it an angled appearance.

Our custom window seat cushion calculator is an easy step-by-step process that allows you to pick your fabric (indoor fabric, Sunbrella fabric, Outdura fabric and Robert Allen fabric) or send us your own! Pick your width, depth, thickness, fill and style. It's that simple!
Your window seat cushion will be uniquely crafted for you. Ties can be placed in your preferred locations. Your finished product will be within 1/2" of your provided dimensions. Measurements do not include thickness of cording.

Cushion thickness is less than 4" and the length exceeds 118"
Cushion thickness is less than 4" and if the length added to the girth [2 x (L x W)] exceeds 129"
- Fabric Samples:

Because of variations from one computer screen to another, it's difficult to precisely match fabric color on our website. We suggest that you purchase fabric samples if color matching is important to your individual buying decision. To order fabric samples, click the "Sample" button on the top menu while viewing the fabric of your choice in our Fabric Selection Tool. From there you will be able to cart your sample. You may also purchase fabrics by the yard by clicking the "Order" button on the top menu.

Cushion Clearance can create custom products using fabric you already own! Simply choose Customer Fabric (COMFAB) as your fabric selection. (COMFAB is usually listed first in our Fabric Gallery.) There is a one-time (per order), non-refundable $25.00 charge for the handling of your material. Please read our COM Procedures for more information.
- Unique Shape Templates:

All unique shape orders require a template. A non-refundable $35.00 fee will be added per template. Please be sure to read our important Template Information and Directions.

Custom orders are NON RETURNABLE and CANNOT BE CANCELLED once placed due to the custom and made-to-order processes involved.
Any problems or concerns with custom-made products must be reported within 5 business days of receipt. Our workmanship is guaranteed within 6 months of receipt of your custom-made product. Please contact customer service with your concerns.

This item ships via FedEx or UPS (depending on your zip code). If you have a large quantity order, it will ship via FedEx Freight or a standard LTL carrier. Once shipped, you will receive a tracking number via the email address you provide. Ground shipments usually arrive within 2-5 business days after shipment. Normally, our shipments do NOT require a signature and will be left on your doorstep if you are not available at the time of delivery.
Please inspect the package when it arrives to determine if damage occurred during shipping. If the packaging is crushed, wet or severely damaged, reject the shipment and do not sign for it. The item will be returned to us, which allows us to file a claim. If damage during shipping is discovered after delivery, contact customer service immediately so a claim can be filed. Please retain all damaged items and shipping materials, as the carrier may need to perform an inspection.
Please note that UPS and FedEx shipments cannot be delivered to PO boxes.
